In the last two weeks I've managed to lose a set of car keys and my camera somewhere in this goddam house. At least I think I lost them in the house. I feel like I'm losing my fucking mind.

I need to smudge my life.

ETA Just smudged the hell out of myself and I feel a whole lot better.

This is me, once again, cutting off my nose to spite my face. Today really needs a do-over.

We're home. Can't say I'm thrilled. I came home to a very messy home with a very overgrown yard. Also, all the problems that didn't plague me in Vegas were waiting for me upon my arrival. The DJ in the Sky has been really stepping up his game tonight. I even had a little musical gift from my dad this morning. But right now if wasn't for the little gems being thrown my way and making me smile, I'd be ready to ground the young lady for life who has dropped the f-bomb on me repeatedly tonight.

Just called in. No work for me today. Mental health day ahoy. And about damn time, if I say so myself.

Still here. Slogging through a lot of unpleasant necessities. Hoping there's a way through to a happier everything.

It was a beautiful day.

The house smells delicious, full of the aromas of lasagna, beef and barley soup, meat loaf and corned beef, all prepared today to make our lives a little easier this week.

Howard is a wonderful cook.

Harry is the best friend a person can have.

Of the 8 cats I currently have, and I love all of them, I do have my favorites. Like people, they have their own distinct personalities. Frankie, also known as the Asshat Cat, because he is, is one of those favorites.
